I would be fair to say that just about every single manufacturer of firearms, tactical clothing, optics + hundreds of other weapon categories is going to be represented at Shotshow 2010 with a staggering 1093 exhibitors this year. I’m not going to be attending but if I was, here is a small list of the booths that I’d like to check out over all others and the reasons.
(Article updated to include info on Robinson Armament’s lawsuit against Remington Arms)
SIG Sauer Booth #11653 [ Refreshed P226 and P229 ]
The only reason why I’d visit this booth is to check out the new editions of the P226 and P229 E2 Handguns. These new models are sporting newly designed one-piece modular grips with improved texture reduces area in the back strap and overall circumference, providing a better fit over a wider range of hand sizes.

The E2 P226 and P229 are available in 9mm Luger/Parabellium, with Nitron finish and night sights. Both have a MSRP of $1149
Remington Arms: Booth #10326 [ Adaptive Combat Rifle Baby!! ]
Are we going to see the Remington ACR at Shotshow 2010, who the hell knows, but judging from the leaked videos, it would probably be a good bet that if not the product, there would definitely be an announcement. (Editors note: Robinson Armament has just launched a patent infringement lawsuit against Remington Arms based on the technology used in the ACR, let the delays ensue once again.)
Magpul: Booth #14073 [ New 'Art of the…' Training DVDs ]
I loved the ‘Art of the Tactical Carbine’ DVD series featuring Chris Costa and am just as excited about the new DVD’s being presented at Shotshow 2010, ‘Art of the Dynamic Handgun’ and ‘Aerial Platform Operations’. I’ll let the trailers below speak for themselves but don’t miss the .50cal Barrett M82 being fired from banking helicopter.

Glock: Booth #14049 [ New RTF3 Textured Gen4 Glock 17 and 22 ]
I would be keen to check out the new RTF3 textured Gen4 Glocks, featuring improvements such as swappable backstraps, that have been bandied about in various forums and blogs for the last six months.
Taurus: Booth #13738 and #13749 [ New Polymer Framed 1911? ]
There is a rumour going around that Taurus is going to present a polymer framed 1911 at Shotshow. it is described as having the same functions and size as the current 1911 (pictured below) but have a polymer frame instead of metal. Crazy.
Colt: Booth #12629 [ New Colt Tactical Website ]
Colt will be unveiling a new interactive website at Shotshow 2010, ‘Colt Tactical’. The website isn’t live yet but I’d expect it to be so, not long after the show. The new site will allow the customer to order his rifle online and have it shipped directly to his FFL holder.
