News: CAW Benelli M4 Riot Shotgun

First Japan has introduced into stock the Craft Apple Works M4 Benelli Riot Shotgun that was announced on 18th June via Sanken/Mojji. Like the M1014 Marine, this is also a spring powered airsoft rifle, in fact owning the CAW M1014, I can see little difference in the design and materials between the two apart from the wooden stock. Taking into account of what I have experienced from the M1014, this M4 is a very rugged design, the ABS composite materials give an appearance of real steel that would fool anyone until it was picked up. The main metal parts are the shell feed tube and the shell assist (both cosmetic only). The magazine (pictured in the gallery) holds about 15rds and fires ONE at a time per pump. The black magazine can also be substituted for TM shells. Click through for the gallery of the CAW Benelli M4 Riot....

News: Marushin M1892 Series in stock – WGC

WGC Shop has introduced back into stock two of Marushin's latest M1892 models. The Maxi and the Maxi Randel. Released in March 08, these have been hard to come by, so if you've been looking for the Polished Deep Black models, buy now.   The metal parts on the two models are sporting a striking finish called 'Polished Deep Black' which from the photos doesn't look all that impressive but I'm guessing you would have to hold one to truly appreciate it. Furniture is authentic wood and the propulsion system is gas.   The M1892 Maxi is retailing for $392.00USD and the Maxi Randel is retailing for $333.00USD from WGC Shop.

News: Marushin M1887 ‘T2′ 8mm Shotty is back

After being out of stock for quite some time, Marushin has announced a new shipment of the 'Teminator 2' M1887 Shotgun to add to the maxi8 line.   A reminder of the features: Constructed from wood and compound metal, comes with 5 shells (holds 5 shells), calibre is 8mm (each shell holds one 8mm BB), weighs 1.6kg, FPS is 285, powered by gas. The lever cocking action looks and sounds great, however it is not advised that you swing-cock it, ala Terminator 2 style, as you may damage the gun or yourself.   Re-introduced in December for around the US$260 mark.   Image courtesy of WGC Shop ©

News: Tanaka M870 ‘SCATTERGUN’ 18inch

News just come to hand via Sanken/Mojji, Tanaka have announced another M870 variant....the 18" 'SCATTERGUN'.   Very little information, but I'm thinking it's either 1 of 2 scenarios.   (a) It could be based on the Scattergun Tech 870 before Wilson Combat aquired Scattergun Technologies and released it as the Remington M870 Border Patrol Shotgun.   (b) Or it could be based on the video game Half-Life 2 Badlands mod, the Remington M870 'Scattergun'.   More info is needed to look out for updates. Shipping on 13 Sept and priced at 61,800 yen.
